This a picture of a carpenters diagram to cut the piece of 2x4 to the right angle. The inner angle of the wood is 140 degrees so the outside angle that he needs to cut would have to have an equal 180 degrees.

Jurek is a welder working on the construction of apedestrian bridge in Cold Lake,Alberta. He is welding together bridge railing. As a decorative element to the rail,Jurek will weld four metal strips on each side of the figure, from the middle of each of the fopur marked angles to the edge of the peice of metal in the center.a scale drawing of the plan is shown.Determine the meaure of each angle bisector of the angles A,B,C, and D.
Used the protractor to get the angles of a,b,c,and d then bisected the angles.

Question #5

When a ray of light is reflected from the light surface, the light strikes the surface at an angle( the angle of incidence) the is equal to the angle of reflection. Both of these angles are measured from a line that is perpendicular to the surface ( called the normal)
Using the diagram below, measure the total angle between each pair of incident and reflected rays in the left, middle and right rays. Then determine the angles of the reflection for each ray.

Angle Bisectors-reflex angle
Suppose that you are creating a graphic design for a logo that is made up to the one shown below, with the reflex angle devided into sixteen equal angles. Copy the design below into a piece of paper. Use your knowledge of bisecting angles to draw line segments that will divide the reflex angle into sixteen equal angles. What strategy will you use?
By Natalie Penner
For this one, I made the mistake of bisecting and ending with too many angles and they were also uneven, which made it hard to distinguish the angles.
Final good copy: For the second copy, I out-lined the lines in different colours to identify which angles was bisected. To bisect them, I placed the point of the compass on the vertex and made an arc on the top and lower segment. Then, I proceeded to expand the compass and placed the point on the vertex of the arc. From there, I made a bigger arc in the centre of the angle from each point. Then I bisected through the centre where the two lines intersected.By Natalie Penner
